REMOVAL & DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS, NON-HAZARDOUS, & UNIVERSAL WASTE AT GRAND COULEE DAM, WASHINGTON
Take the next step
OVER 70% OF WASTE FROM GRAND COULEE DAM IS RECYCLED & REUSED
At the largest hydroelectric facility in America, producing the highest electric generation capacity of all power plants in the United States, ECC provides removal and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal waste at Grand Coulee Dam. Since 2017, our knowledgeable personnel perform monthly waste collection and transportation of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal waste to the appropriate disposal facility. We evaluate recycling opportunities above all other disposal methods, when recycling isn’t possible, we prioritize treatment, incineration, with landfill disposal the last viable option.
Our RCRA experts work closely with the U.S Bureau of Reclamation and TSDFs ensuring we maintain compliance for Grand Coulee Dam with EPA, RCRA, TSCA, DOT, as well as local and State regulations while managing an annual average of over 10,000 to 15,000 pounds of hazardous waste, 12,000 to 17,500 pounds of non-hazardous waste, and 6,500 to 10,000 pounds of universal waste.
