Proactive maintenance significantly reduces waste
Each year, ECC undertakes the cleaning of over 300 grease traps, steam cleaning over 50 grease trap lines, and provides maintenance for over 50 OWS systems at Eielson AFB and Blair Lakes Bombing Range.
Our services encompass the operation, maintenance, cleaning, inspecting, and repairing of OWS wastewater pretreatment systems, grit traps, and associated drains. Grease traps undergo thorough interior and exterior cleaning, including the clearance of obstructions and steam cleaning of grease trap lines.
Waste generated from these processes is managed by ECC, with transportation and disposal conducted in accordance with all Federal, State, and local regulations with waste being transported to an approved off-site disposal facility. The upkeep of these systems is integral to the mission and operations at Eielson AFB and Blair Lakes Bombing Range.
